I was cleaning the impellor on my aquaball 2210 and dropped it on the floor!!

I have snapped the shaft and the fan thingie that spins around doesnt spin all the way round.

is this normal? it spins to a certain point and then won't turn anymore. Is it meant to stop or have i broke this too?

it is ment to move a bit and stop (absorbs energy)
this prevents the impellor from snapping the shaft when it is started up.
you will need a new shaft but I have a suspicion the LFS will try to sell you the entire thing (impellor and shaft)

you should find an online seller that will do just the shaft

Ok thanks i have found an online store that do the shaft for around £3. i was just worried that the impellor was meant to turn 360 degrees and that i had somehow jammed it by dropping it
