Eheim 3535 Surface suction extractor

Im thinking of buying an Eheim Surface suction extractor, if you look on the Eheim web site its under accessories and part number 3535.
Has anyone tryed this extractor and is it any good???

hi, I'v never used on of tese before and don't know anyone who has. i'v heard they can be a bit fiddly to setup and keep running, but that may not be the case. unless you are getting a build up of scum on the surface, then I don't really see the need.

i just bought this and im not too happy with it i have connected to the 2213 and it causes my filter too make too much noise if anyone knows how this thing works properly (because eheims instructions are kinda of useless) i would love to hear about it..maybe you should wait until a few people tell u about it
