Eheim 2324 Pro Thermo

I'm strongly considering upgrading my current Fluval 204 to an Eheim 2324 Pro Thermo for my Juwel Rio 125 (internal filter removed).

I'm assuming they're very reliable and simple to use. My main attraction is the built-in heater so there's even less unsightly equipment in the tank. I'm also a big fan of over filtering (designed for 250 litre) and the flow rate sounds ideal (500 lph).

Any experiences with these?

I don't have experience with the thermo filter, but would think this is definitely a great filter. What will you use for the outflow ? (I'm guess you'll do away with those horrid green pipes ?)

I'll use my existing modified (all black) spray bar and inlet.

I have heard negative reports of the heaters packing in after about a year over on PT.
