Eheim 224 Stops Working

I have recenlty bought a new EHEIM 2224 external filter.

It works ok for a while - the time period varies normally between a day or 30 minutes.

I have then to take the suction hos eout and it normallly restarts the syphon wthout an intervention, I plug the hose back in and switch on the pump seems to work fine after that.

Any suggestions as to what is going wrong?

Is that a brand new Eheim ?

Try to clean the inner part of the motor, just pull the plastic cap and clean the dynamo with brush.

Just trycleaning it first and if not send it back to the store where you purchased it.
