Eheim 2224 & Eheim 2026

Hi All,

Just wondered if anyone is familiar with the EHEIM External filters?

I started off with an EHEIM 2224 which I have only run for 2 weeks but need to change it for the 2026 which is a better size for my 300litre tank.

Does anyone know if the pipework will be interchangeble to save having to re-plumb?

The 2224 is so quiet I hope the 2026's are the same

Hi,
The Eheim 2224 Inlet/Outlet is 12mm pipe whilst the 2026 Inlet/Outlet is 16mm
So your gonna have to re-plumb I'm afraid.

Yes.

I have only had it two weeks from brand new and the only reason is it is not big enough for my tank. Newbie Error

Why are you interested before I go ahead and resell it on eBay?
