Eheim 2215 Any Good For Saltwater Tank?

Hey everyone

I am looking to build up all the equipment needed to set up a marine tank, I am purchasing a Juwel Vision 180 tank shortly and want to know if this filter would be suitable for a marine tank set up?

Also are there any threads which give info on what is required to set up a marine tank correctly?

Check the marine section, but most marine systems are filtered with Live Rock, this is known as the Berlin method, whereby you have about 1Kg of rock per 8-10 Litre's of water, and lots of water circulation and the bacteria live in the rock. Any external filter's can be used for Phosphate resins and Carbon etc.
