eheim 2026 0r 2028?

Wondering if oyu guys can help.
I currently have a 65 gallon african cichlid tank. At the moment it is is not overstocked and the fish are fairly young.
What i need to know is. Would i be better off going for the 2026 that has a 950 lph flow rate or the 2028 with 1050lph flow. I know the more the better and the 2028 has more filter media. But im worried about haveing too much flow in the tank. Or would this not be a problem?

You may have better luck asking this in the african cichlid subforum, this subforum doesn't get a lot of traffic.
