Eggspot on male betta??

This is more of an inquiry than an urgent message because it doesn't seem to bother him at all. A few months after I got my male betta (he was quite small when I got him), I noticed that he developed what I think is an egg spot/a faux egg spot?? Does anyone know anything about it?

Doesn’t look like one to me... no scales enough. Actually looks like the start of ich to me - weird place though... I’m not 100% sure, just my opinion.

Thats still a male if you look at the body, where the organs are, it leaves a rounded impression. Thats a male trait. Females have a triangular organ shape due to their ovaries.

Some have the egg spots, some theyre dark. It may darken overtime. My boy has one too. But after a year his has darkened. And Colin_T mentioned on another post about the egg spot in males being darker.
