platies are live breeders and dont lay eggs, they give birth to live young, as for neon eggs I'm not sure what they look like, but they are photo-sensitive, so if hit by light they will die.

ok thanks mate im sorry if i sound thick but its my first time to set up a tank and i have been reading alot about tropical fish but im not really a 100% sure. only time will tell.

We all have to learn and on here you will learn VERY fast.

I've only been keeping fish for about 2yrs if that long and I know quite a bit, but as you can see from my posts I have to ask questions, even the pro's on here still ask questions.

Its a learning curve for us all, not a steep one, but a long one that never ends
