Eggs or Fungus

My friend has found a white furry ball the size of a pea. I think it's an egg case but it might be a fungus. If any one could help me out A.S.A.P it would be much aprieseated.

Sounds like a bit of food or dead snail that has gone mouldy (fungus). I get little white fuzzy balls in my breeder tank from time to time from over feeding. It is hard to feed fry and not over feed them and still see to it they get enough. I do not know of any fuzzy eggs so I am guessing fungus. I would get rid of it but that is only my opinion.
