Hi all

Well my trilineatus eggs have finally hatched :good:
Saved them on the 1st Nov,came down to 11 wigglers in the net,the last 2 hatched about an houe ago :D

Transferred them all to a floating container with an airstone incl the week old cory :)

Fingers crossed they do well :)

Here's a pic of new fry with the bigger week old one, plus one egg that hatched out a while later :)

Here's a slight close up of a few of them, with 2 eggs before they hatched and you can see the size difference with the older cory.

And here's the eggs i saved on the 4th nov :D ,i thought there was 9,but i can only see 8 now

Thank you both :)

I'm so pleased they're finally here

I wait to see if the other 8 eggs will hatch in a few days time.

My other 6 juvi's are doing fine in the main tank at the moment, they appear to be growing fast :good:

Isn't it amazing how fast they grow at first? Good luck with these, Harlequins :)

amazing, congrats!

i do hope youre selling some of these :p

quick question as you have the leopards,, are they weaker than most other corys?

Thanks :)

All the wee fry are still alive :good:

Haych - If these do well i will be selling them :p

I'm not sure if leopards are any weaker than other cories,i did have 3 adult ones die when i first got them, that was back in august,Touch wood i haven't lost any adults since, just the babies a few weeks ago.

Any we all know what the remaining 3 adults have been up to don't we

I think all cories are prone to bacteria infections, best to ask inchworm and the other experts :)

cool :p

but thats why i asked, i have5 cories, 3 peppers, a sterbai and a julii/leopard.

i bought two more leopards, and they both died the same way, about 2 or 3 weeks apart though

Ahh thats a shame

Mine each died 2 days apart,i thought i was going to lose them all.the ones that died were all fairly small compared to the other 3 i had, maybe just very young?

My second batch of 8 cory eggs are hatching right now :hyper: :D

There's 2 there at the moment,waiting impatiently for the other 6 :p

Well done.

I have noticed with my fry, that i'm getting a better survival rate using Hikari First bites instead of Liquifry.

Thanks :)

Yes i've noticed that too :good:

Its very rare on feed liquidfry now,i just add a little first bites to some tank water and use a pipette to put it in by the fry :)
