Oh, sorry! She'll take on a boxy shape when she's very near to dropping her fry. Kind of like this:

Thanks for the pics guys ive managed to put her in one of those plastic nesting thingys... (sorry for the lingo)
without any stress she was literally around the top of the tank and i just lowered the side and she swam in

Shes starting to square of by what i can tell from your pictures and what she looks like, one of the males is hanging around swimming around the thingy?
is that normal for him to hang about?

Thanks for all this guys... im awful at all this stuff, my husbands in the military so hes set this up and now away! trust my luck haha, and now there all pregnant and all sorts...

Tell your husband thank you for all he's doing for us at home! The other fish are hanging out around the pregnant female hoping for a meal of fresh fry! Mom may also eat the fry, so be ready to move her back into the tank as soon as she has the babies. Good luck!
