Well, it's been about 4 days since I got my dear orangie girl. She is obviously eggbound. I have given her two Epsom Salt baths, I have fasted her for about 4 days now, and I have bettamax in her tank. No results. Do you think I should try the technique where you gently massage her belly?

I'm guessing you ordered off AB or somethinglike that. the delivery porbably caused alot of stress :( I'm sorry but i dont know what to tell you. Maybe put a mae near her

Since u couldnt help with my question

Im gonna tell u what I found

Remove her from the view of all other bettas. Do not feed her for 2-3 days and keep her bowl covered with minimal light. Keeping her in a warm place also helps.
You can also carefully remove her form her bowl with a damp paper towel coated in Stress Coat and gently rub her ovipositor with a wet Q-tip to encourage the release of the eggs

Seriously Im not spamming Can u explain this to me...
Seriously, it is. Go look it up before you post. My thread was to ask questions not to be hyjacked. :/

hey gp, sorry to hear about your girl :( i know u paid a very pretty penny for them and i'd worry the same too.

Are you sure she's not just bloated or anything like that? I guess if everything fails you can try the q-tip technique, though i'm not eralyl sure she'll let you do that

could you post ap icture of her?

:/

yeah i think that is eggboundness...but i've never dealt with an eggbound female before so i wouldn't be able to give you any proper adivce...hope she gets better though :/

could you ask the seller what he/she's been feeding him before the trip? could she be constipated? have you tried feeding a pea?

This could be. I've noticed that my male has been bloaded for sometime, and then it goes away, but always comes back. I should try a pea....

edit- considering this was her directly before the trip.
