Eels and aquarium salt?

Is it ok to put aquarium salt in a tank with peacock eels? Does it help them the same way it helps other fish?

I have 1 peacock a tiretrack and a tiger eel.

I use aquarium salt and they seem better for it

But thats just my opinon - never used it before 2 weeks ago.

Had my other eels for 4 years never used salt - tiger eel is the only one
that is from my old batch and she actually seems happier if thats possible
