Eel Without Fins

Hi All,

I have 3ftx1x3ft tank and i bought an Eel today. When i searched net abt Eels, in pics i saw every eal has fins but mine does not have. Instead it has 2 holes on both sides, dark grey in color, 1.5 ft long and long sharp mouth with 0.5cm piped nostrils.

I want to know what kind of Eel is it and wats its fav. food.
