eek heater quit for a while. Should I worry??

My heater was having a bad connection or something. I switched it to a different outlet and it's fine now, but the water got down to 74 degrees F (normally it is 78-80). Should I be worried about it? Is there anything I can do to prevent any disease due to stress or should I just wait and see?

I wouldn't worry, unless it dips below 70 degrees. Even then with only warm water loving fish like discus, and betta. Most tropical fish do just fine between 70 and 86 degrees. Few tropical species will survive below 60 degrees and above 90 degrees.

ok thanks. I think it's up to 76 now so hopefully by morning it will be all normal again. Now I have a new issue. *sigh*
