Editing Topic Title

Since a few months I have several problems with my journal. E.g. although it says that I am watching the topic, I am never being notified of such and I have to visit the journal section to check whether any new posts on my journal are made.

Now, a few days ago I wanted to edit the subtitle of my journal and I wasn't able to anymore. I used to go to the first post and do a full edit, but now that option doesn't appear anymore. Does it have anything to do with my viewmode, or has this option been removed, or.....

Still should be able to.

Click 'Edit', then 'use full editor' next to 'save changes'.

I didn't think you can do it any more? I've had to get a mod to edit mine for me.

I've just tried to changed mine and it doesn't give the option. You can only edit your last post on the thread not the first, and this doesn't give the option

Definitely works, i just changed my journal sub title.

Can you tell me in which mode you are viewing the forum? Maybe that is the problem...

It's a forum setting, posts older than x months (can't remember the exact number) can't be edited. What would you like it changing to and I'll go do it for you

It was originally to stop people from coming along after having a fall out with the forum or someone on it and removing their material that they had posted like species info and help guides etc. Not sure why it's now only the titles though and not the whole post... it used to be the whole post...

Can't help about the notifications though I'm afraid

Thanks Cazzie! I would only like to change the subtitle to reflect the new updates: new fish and pictures June 2012. Is that possible?
