Editing A Post

ok so usually when im here im either not concentrating or trying to be clever and do several things at once ( ok maybe just 2 ) so when the *cough*-odd spelling error happens i want to go and correct it... but on most pages it won`t let me...just comes up ( on maybe the second time i ask) with some code box.. then won`t do anything so i have to press the back button ..
so untill such time as there`s a solution, for everyone who reads my posts- must be one of you

..i am trying.. im just failing more often than not
a solution soon would be nice though.. i am thick, i just don`t want my spelling to give it away

Hi Shelagh, you can edit the post but the button/icon is very faint.

The text for the button should be in a darker colour, but it allows you to edit.

Bottom right hand side there should be 2/3 buttons
1. Edit
2. Reply
3. Multiquote

yes thats what i`ve been doing..still it wont do it on all pages ( just shows a box full of code).. maybe a glitch of some sort

What are you using for a web browser (IE, Firefox, etc) and which skin are you using?

Classic Blue & IP Board Pro are still in the Beta stages, though 99% functional. The compatibility with IE & these skins is one of the problems Invision Power Service is working on ATM. What you can try is switching to a different skin to edit. As these problems are resolved the skins here are updated.
