I did a water change already, and maybe I'm just paranoid, or he really is sick. He doesn't want the peas at all...or the bloodworms. I saw him move odd...like he was having a seizure about two times. I looked at him with a flashlight and he looks normal  . He has little specks on his body but they look like his natural coloring because they are kind of metallic blue or green. I honestly have no idea what's wrong with him. He use to be such a piggy when it was feeding time and he would always beg for more food and now he hardly even pays attention to it. He seemed to have bit his own tail also. I see no more black edges but his tail is shorter and uneven. Now I have no idea what to treat for or if I should even treat for something.

What size is his tank?
Has he been moved from one location to another at all? (his tank)
Has the temp changed at all in his tank recently?

Is there anything that is sitting outside his tank that could be scaring or traumatizing him?

I am not sure what kind of setup you have for him, but if possible I would turn up the heater and add in a little salt (un-iodized.) It couldn't do any harm, but if something is wrong it will do good.

His tank is a 10 gallon.
He hasnt been moved at all and the temp stays the same.
Nothing is outside of his tank that can scare him and the filter is fixed so that it wouldn't have a strong current. He also has the blackwater and stress coat in there to help with stress so I don't really think he's stressed. He hasn't shown stress lines since the first day I had him.

I added salt but how much should I turn up the heater to? I have it at 80 currently.
I actually have a slight feeling it could be velvet but I'm not 100% sure of what to look for.
I found description of it here: Betta diseases
He has loss of appetite, not sure about the loss of color. He does rub on the bottom occassionally and he has seizure like movements. I don't really want to treat if he doesn't have anything but I also don't want him to die and I wouldn't know what to treat him with either.
