Great Little Experiment - but did those lil fishies have to die in the name of someones science experiment?

Mixed Feelings on this one.

I know. But it isn't a real test if everything ran perfectly. I was actually surprised at the betta's hardiness.

i'm simply amazed at the betta surviving through all that!, all that stress, no space to move almost and no food. AMAZING

again, I cant believe the hardiness of the betta

it's a bit dodgy. they're only in a little jar. and how many people took part? by the sound of it, a lot of fish died. what a waste!

something i thought was dodgy is...

What's weird is that the fighting fish isn't retaliating. I guess because I got it for $5.

hmmm...


yeah, i don't think it's very nice.

I liked reading of the experience. True, there was some unnecessary death, but at least he was compassionate about it and learned from it.

The analogy of the betta not fighting because of it's cost escapes me :kira:
