I'm going on holiday for 2 weeks and I'm thinking of getting an auto-feeder for that period as it's difficult to get someone to do the feeding for that length of time.

All the 'brand' ones seem quite pricey (£20+) but I've found some on eBay that are half the cost. Has anyone used something like this one?

I haven't, but if you do decide to buy any autofeeder then make sure you buy it with enough time to test it over a decent time period. Eg. Don't manually feed your fish for 2 weeks, just leave the auto feeder going so that you can get it adjusted and be sure that the fish are being fed the right amount.
I would also set it to only feed every other day if that's possible.
