Are my cherry shrimp eating too much? I recently switched tanks and a lot of debris from the old substrate clouded up into the water. 12 hours later it cleared up, but it went onto the plants and stuff. So now it's like the Cherry Shrimp are eating up all of the debris on the plants for 12 hours, and now there's a bunch of poop littered on the leaves from them. Should I be concerned that they're eating too much, and will they kill themselves by overeating? Thanks.
Also, I switched from 5 gallon to ten gallon. The 5 gallon filter media will not fit into the 10 gallon filter. So I put the filter media straight into the tank, with the filter having its own new media. How long will it take for the bacteria to colonize the new media?
P.S. They do seem a lot redder, I think they are happier in the 10 gallon... There was one that was kinda clearish, I thought it was unhealthy(it was a female) but now it's in the ten gallon and all of them are red.
