I have 8 fish in my 10 gallon tank, i have 4 black neon and 4 blue neon!
This morning i looked in my tank and found one of my blue neons a very pale colour jammed at the bottom of my tank near a rock, dead! My other 3 neons have completely vansihed, they have disintigrated completely!
Is it common for black neons to eat other fish?? now i have another one of my black neons with a red mark underneath its top fin. . . could this be blood from one of the other black neons trying to eat this fish now!
Please can someone help me, as i feel awful for my poor blue neons, who where some black neons fish supper!

It's unlikely that the Black Neons ate them, they will only really feast on them when they are dead.
How long has the tank been set up?
What are your waer eadings for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and PH?

they will not be eating the other neons!
what other fish are in the taknk and how small are the neon tetras??
what are your water parameters??

They are def not in the fiklter, i have a biorb 30L, i have not taken readings for the moment as i had whitespot in my tank about a week ago, however i am now cured for that!
Why is one of my black neons bleeding at the fin? or is it normal for them to have a red tinge??
The bodies have completely vanished and there was what looked like flesh swimming about! I fed them yesterday but i left feeding them today!
Its like they disintigrated

I forgot to add, had my tank set up for 6 weeks, only added fish 2 weeks ago!
before the whitespot my readings where around 0.3 for nitrites

They probably died due to the whitespot, and the remaining fish have eaten the bodies of the other fish, before you got to them.

Ok i thought the whitespot had disappeared, and last night they where a;; swimming around happy and healthy!
What about my black neon tetra with the red mark under his fin? ius this normal?
Thanks for the help by the way

I have no experiance with black neons, It could be blood or just their colouring. Post a photo in the Tetra section of the forum, I'm sure they'l help.

I have no idea what the red spot is on the black neon but it is not a color I have seen on mine. My black neons are black and shades of gray with the shiny neon stripe but no red.
