Fish dying has recently been brought to my attention, i was previously unaware of these goings on. My LFS is listed under practical fish keepings' pledge not to sell dyed fish and yet now i read that parrots only naturally (without dye) come in white or pale orange. Now I am starting to wonder why my LFS is stocking bright pink (like barbie pink) heart parrots and coloured widow tetras!! Are they breaking the pledge or are these natural colours for fish? So confused :/

hmm yeah my lfs has had some pink parrots in for ages - they look horrid and they £20 each....
No wonder I don't think any have been sold haha....

Email PFK, I've had to do that with one LFS. They will remove the shop from the list and contact them, presumably asking why.

A good way to tell dyed parrots is to look at the eyes, for example if a BP was dyed pink the eyes would also be pink.

Also heart shaped parrots have their tails cut off to make them this way.
