Can anyone give me info on dwarf puffer, I want to keep them in a 29g. Are they brackish? Do they need salt? How many can i keep in a 29g (alone)? What kiind of aquascaping? Temp? pH? Can i feed them snails from our pond outside?

dwarves are fw. read some of the articles in the oddball section, lots of info on setting the right tank, food needs, water needs, and number of fish.

Dwarfs are 100% freshwater, you could put, at the most, about 10 dwarf puffers in a 29. They need lots of caves and plants to break up the line of sight between them and to give them area to make territories. I keep my temp. around 78-80.

Yes, I had a snail get into my filter once, but the puffers won't take long to eat them so they might not get a chance.
