Hello there , I am very new to fish keeping  , I was was in my LFS this morning and noticed they had two tanks labelled rainbow praecox  , I asked the lady in the shop about them but she seemed a bit unsure  , I was told they also had "gold rainbows" in stock. I was told "they should be kept in pairs". When I got home I found different information on various websites. One said thet you can keep 1 male and 2 females. The other said a small shoal of 5 or 6. I think my tank is big enough 95ltr , 80x30x40cm...... I would like to add these to my tank , I have a few small corys and some small tetras in there already, do you think this would be ok?
Would also like to add peacock gobies at a later date if I ever find them,,,,,
How many dwarf rainbows are suitable ? Do you think they would be ok with the peacock gobies as well ?
Any correspondance is greatly appreciated , thank you in advance........ :good:

m. praecox are dwarf neon rainbows that grow to about 6-8cms.
keep 1 male to 2 females. i suggest in your tank size, (depending on what other numbers you have) to get 2 males and 4 females.

they do prefer to be in groups, like most other fish.
