I have for dwarf puffers one male and three female I have read that it is rare to breed them. I can't say I am actively trying to breed them but is this a good start with the three to one or do they just need to be in pairs? If they did breed I have ghost shrimp in the tank to they will eat the eggs right? One more thing do you have to take the fry out and put them in another tank once they hatch or do they not eat there own fry? I know some of these ? might be stupid but I'm just checking like I said I'm not trying to breed them but Iwould like to know what to do if they do. I know it's always a chance with the boy and girl thing. Now I sound like their parent :p sorry if this info has been posted before I could not find it.

I doubt the shrimp will be around long enough to eat the eggs.

Ren's website and also dwarf puffers.com has good information on breeding puffers

Ren's website is all over, meaning that he is one of the few to do it. I'd say it's pretty diffucult.

I have had the ghost shrimp in there for months I put them in there for them to eat but they don't. Now they are bigger then the puffers almost  I have read ren's sight before thats how I learned what I know about there breeding habbits but I could not find the answers to my questions. I think it might be because I haven't found any one who knows because they are so hard to breed thank you for your help if any one knows any were else to look I would be interested. :)

I've actually kept ghost shrimp with my puffers for quite some time, with no casualties. I have some pretty laid back puffers :)
I'll call you lucky then , are they on Thorazine :D [ spelling ].
