OK so I have made my choice. Dwarf Puffers it is. I will have 2 for the five gallon :D I can't wait

Cool, make sure the tank is heavily planted and/or has a lot of hiding spots so they can get away from each other!

Ditto to what nuke said. Some people will tell you 2 is too many for a 5 gallon but just ignore them. XD I have 3 in a 6 gallon and they're fine.

Would it not be better to think why they say it?

2 in a 5g in possible, I tried 2 in a heavily planted 4g and that failed however. Heavy planting and decor to break up the tank and provide hiding places will be key.

Again there's a pinned topic to read through on dwarf puffers here.

They are very cool fish. Take it slow though, make sure the tank cycles and you get some leafy plants established in there before adding the fish. Good luck. :good:
