Hi, i know quite a bit on dwarf puffers but will appreciate some more information about them...
However also i am looking for them to buy, i live in Doncaster and if anyone is selling some please send a message on here and i will reply bak as soon as possible.

Also if anyone knows where to get them from as i never seen them in shops. Can you give me a shop name even if it's quite far from Doncaster that sell Dwarf Puffers.
Thanks.

Maidenhead Aquatics are well reputated for selling them!

If read quite a lot what sort of things do you need clarifying?

Well i wanted to know what other fish i can keep with them, i knew there arn't that many as they are fin nippers, bu can you keep the red eye puffers with them since they are just like them and the same size. Of course thats when having loads of plants in the aquarium and caves, i have 25 gallon tank, how many fish can i keep in there including the dwarf puffer.
Can someone give me a good list of for a 25 gallon tank of fish i could keep with the dwarf puffers including the quantity of how many of them.
Also is there any bottom dweller i could keep with them?
I have a 4" length size yellow belly slider, can i keep him with them. I have been keeping him with cichlids and he doesn't attack any fish at all, i think becasue i have had him since 2.5" size and i think he thinks of fish as friends and not food.
Thanks.

Dwarf Puffers should really be kept in a species only tank. In a 25g, heavily planted tank you could easily keep 5 or 6. They maybe small, but they are ferocious little fish when the mood takes them [I should know....I've recently suffered some un-rest in my tank and one has completely disappeared and another has a chunk out of it!!!].

Red eye Puffers [Tetraodon lorteti] can grow up to 6cm, twice the size of a DP, and should also be kept in a species only tank.
