Dwarf Puffers In A Planted Tank?

Yes. It's recommended. Check the pinned topic at the top of the forum for more.

mine are in a fairly densely planted, the only problem is that quite often you cant see them because they are hiding. didnt see mine for a week but all came out yesterday when doing a water change!

They actually like heavily planted tanks. The plants provide lots of hiding places and also, they like to nose around during the day. Very curious little fish. If the tank is too bare, they get bored and just keep swimming up and down in front of the glass instead of exploring.

I assume that you are aware there are very limited suitable tank mates for DP tanks.

I fret when I can't find all 3 of mine

Dense planting is also good as it breaks up their line of sight and less chasing occurs.

I have mine in with otocinclus and amano shrimps and wouldn't like to trust them with anything else  :look:
