Dwarf Puffers, Bn Catfish

can i keep Dwarf Puffers with a breeding pair of bn catfish the tank is a roma 90 with bog wood fake plants and wood. i would get real plants for the Dwarf Puffers and up grade the filter to a fluval u3. if i can put them together how many could i have.

Tbh I wouldn't put dwarf puffers in with anything that could be termed as a sitting duck. They will think nothing of tasting the plecs to see if they are edible enough and you could end up with shredded fins etc.
I know alot of people say they have dps in with things like cories etc but I wouldn't do it. The only thing I ever had in with my dps was a few otocinclus catfish and large amano shrimps. These are fast enough to swim away when the puffers come near. Apart from that I really do think it's best as species only for these tiny puffers, no matter how cute they look
