Dwarf Puffers And Rams Horns...

I think 3 Dwarf Puffers will be fine in a 10 gallon tank with Ram shorn snails. The reason I am choosing Snails is because I read that they eat the fry. That means ta-dah no overcrowding. But! Should I get 8 or 4?

the puffers wont eat only the fry, but the adults too...

i had literally 300 ramshorn snails, and then i added 3 dwarf puffers into the tank.

I have have about 10.

If you want the snails, i'd have them in another tank and add a few young ones to the puffer tank every few days or something.

Do the snails need like a uhhh filtered tank or will they do good in a 10 gallon with no filter?

they'd do fine in there IMO... change the water regularly though..

or every other day...at least break the surface a few times, otherwise a film develops.

IMO = in my opinion.
