Dwarf Puffer Tank Mates

my dwarf puffer shares a tank with a congo puffer, 2 red tail red eye (irrebescu!) puffers and now joined by 3 peruvian puffers. no problems so far!

well i only have a 28 gallon so...guess ill just stick with the DP's...still need to get ammonia to cycle the tank :/

mine is 125litre so about the same, i do have 2 solid mesh dividers in it so the small ones can keep away from big ones bet spend most of their time visiting!

I have my 3 living quite happily with 9 Corydoras with no problems :)

I can't imagine that working out for long, because I'm sure the congo puffer when it gets a bit bigger will destroy the rest, no questions asked.

The pinned topic at the top of the forum has some decent info about tankmates. I've kept BBG's, Irrubesco and Sap's with DP's before, but that's not to say I'd recommend it.

You will soon have a tank containing a nice plump Congo, since they are piscavores :)

been fine for 6 months and as i have said before there are dividers in the tank for smaller ones to escape through. also keep feeder river shrimp in there so no one ever starving.
