I want to get a Dwarf Puffer in like 6 months when I have the money to buy things to get one. Anyway I have some questions:

1. Is there a bottom feeder a Dwarf Puffer can get along with?
2. What do they eat?
3. How big do they get?
4. Is there a difference between a male and a female Dwarf Puffer?
5. Whats the smallest tank they can be kept in?
6. Are there any good Dwarf Puffer Websites?

1. Bristlenose catfish are ideal (tank size allowing)
2. Live and frozen 'natural foods'
3. One to one a one quarter inch
4. Of course! Ask your Mommy or Daddy about the birds & the Bees :p
5. Five gallons per puffer minimum
6. Yes, Here.

Im 19
I was just being facetious. :p
There are differences, but 10 different people will tell you 10 different ways of telling them apart.

Sexual dimorphism doesn't show until they're adults so it's impossible to chose your genders when buying the juvie fish. In my experiance it dosn't make much difference anyway unless you intend to attempt to breed them (very unlikely to succeed, although it can be done)

Aww these guys are so cute! I want one so bad but don't know where to get one, because I know the petsmarts by me don't have them. :(

I've always read that males have "wrinkles" behind their eyes and females don't (but they're so dang tiny and swim so fast I could never see wrinkles on mine even if they DO have them). Males also have a brown stripe down their belly which is darker-colored when they reach sexual maturity.

... But as SirMinion said, these characteristics aren't displayed till they are adults, and most of the ones you'll find in stores are young, so chances are you won't know what gender you have till you've had them a while.
