Hey guys.

They finally have DP's in the lfs so i was thinking of getting a few but then i realized theyre in a brackish tank.
I have freshwater.
Would i be able to put them into freshwater?

This website says they should be in freshwater.

they are fw fish and wont survive in brackish..

maybe if your lfs has them in brackish they are figure eight puffers, but back to dps-

they need about 5gallons per fish, lots of decor to keep them ocupied, temperature of 25c and heavy filtration becuase they are messy eaters, you feed them:

snails-any pest snails, such as ramshorns, pond snails, MTS
bloodworm-frozen is good
brine shrimp-i found they only take live...

good luck

Oh ya i know what they need i just wanted to ask that Q's because they're supposed to be freshwater but there in brackish.
When i seen them they werent figure eight puffers at all. all the wrong coloring. and these looked super small and exactly like a dwarf puffer.

Well ive seen some sites that say that they can tolerate some salinity but you never know they might be just be using aquarium salt not marine salt. They looked perfectly healthy.Should i phone the lfs and tell them to put them in FW?
or should i take some documents of them in for them?
