Hi
Recently, i got a pair of Dwarf Puffer Fish. They grow to about 1" and are extremely cute. They were also a life saver. I'm sure many of you have at some time had an infestation of snails and wanted them gone, right? As it later turned out, DPF's eat snails, as a must-have part of their diet. They also eat VERY small live food, snails, mussels, and other crustations. In 1 week, i swear they ate over 100 snails. Now i have only so many eggs left. Soon they will all be gone, well, we all know they wont be GONE, there will always be some left but you get the point! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask away!

I used to have the Amazonian Species C.Asellus and got some common Ramshorns to breed for livefood. See if lfs has any snails that you can have and set up a small breeding tank for them with basic filtration. Feed them small pieces of Courgette and a bit of flake food and see how you get on. As you said the Puffers need the shell to help keep their beaks ground down... keep us informed!

Hi Gibbo, thanx for the advice. I'll try it but incase it doesn't work, i'll still feed them brine shrimp which i have a poston in the breaders section!Thx for the tip!
