Dwarf Neon Rainbows

i have a tank with a cory, 2 female, and 1 male dwarf neon rainbow. the male seems to dash straight at the females and is giving the females a hard time. am wondering if the male is hostile or trying to breed. the females will dash straight out of his way when that happens
