Dwarf Loaches And Snails

Well, I am going to be getting some dwarf loaches, and I wondered just how big/small the snails they eat would have to be. IE, if I have a couple of 1" snails, will they become fishy food?

Do you mean dwarf chain loaches, Yasuhikotakia (Botia) sidthimunki?
I have some that are still quite young and so far they haven't eaten my nerite snails - one of the snails is half inch across, the others are 1 inch. Whether they'll still be OK when the loaches have grown I can only wait and see. They do eat the little flat red snails, the ones that get to be eighth inch across.
