Dwarf Lion Fish

Yesterday i visited a garden center and they had a Dwarf Lion for sale, for £20 now it looks gorgous, and they say its reef safe... I used to have volitans Lion in a fish only setup, and did`nt think it would have been safe in reef as it would just devour everything that it could. Dwarfs are obviously smaller.. but can they be ok in a reef setup?

Dwarf Lions are reef safe, as long as your reef inhabitants are quite large, and it has been feeding well on frozen foods at the store for some time. You may find it would target shrimps and other inverts if it was hungry, but we have a customer who comes into work who has had one in his reef tank for a couple of years with no ill-effects.
