Dwarf gouramis with Angels?

I have a pair of angels with a pair of dwarfs and they do ok with each other. both are mildly aggressive and hold their own. When the angels are spawning they chase the dwarfs away and when the male dwarf has his nest going he chases them away. If anything my male dwarf is harshest towards the female. If the angels are spawning at the same time as a bubble nest is in place then it gets a bit chaotic. :)

Those would be cool but why not add a few more guppys, platies, and corys?

The tank is just a few days old... I did not really "cycle" (shame one me) so I am adding about 6 fish per week to avoid the New Tank Symdrome. The angels will one of the last guys to go in because of their delicacy and price.

I don't think there is a way to avoid "new tank syndrome" isn't that just the same as cycling? You're tank has to cycle. Do you know what your readings are? I'm assuming that you wouldn't add new fish with ammonia and nitrite readings. It's one thing for a fish to slowly get used to an ammonia build up and survive. It's another to throw a fish into it green. You'll just end up "needlessly" losing fish.

I have to agree, 6 fish a week is way too many for an uncycled tank. I would leave things alone until you are certain the tank has cycled, this can take up to 6 weeks. I know its diifucult to wait but believe me, its worth it, you will almost certainly lose fish if you continue adding them at that rate with a tank that hasn't cycled.
