i have just been told by my wife that i had one of my female gourami's
caught between 2 rocks in my tank.

ive been able to release her but she has alot of missing scales on her side. is there anything i could do for her she also looks like her side has been pressed in from trying to free herself

Just leave her in peace and quite with the light turned off, maybe add some melafix to the tank for the wounds, make sure there is no bleeding under the skin on her side, good luck.

thanks for the help its now been a few hours since i caught her.

just a heads up she's looking her old self apart from
redness on her side though im not sure its blood as i would have expected she would be in a bad state.
ive put her in a breeding compartment so she wont be bothered by the other fish.
she's also ate a little i dont have any melafix so ive goto hope she's ok till the morning.

but as yet i could be lucky as she's swimming quite freely and her fin's are all upright

Glad to hear that, let her out of the net now don't want to stress her out anymore, good luck.
