Hey,
My female DG has a long string of red poo hanging behind her. I'm quite confident it's not because of overfeeding, because she doesn't eat much at all (mostly hides during the feeding times). I'm quite worried, because ever since adding her to the tank, she's been shy and hiding a lot for me.
Any idea?
Thanks

Are you feeding him food that is red, usually food with colourants will come out the same colour.

Yes it could have eaten some red flakes, but it's the size that worries me more (about 3 inches)

not to worry about the size.he seems just fine and its normal. :good:
are there any other stange behaviours your worried about tho?

Just that she's hiding a lot when I come in the room (she swims around happily when I'm not near the window though) and doesn't come out for food that much, but I heard that's normal for the first few weeks.
