Okay so I've had this dwarf gourami for maybe 2-3 weeks now, it seems very healthy, eats and poops fine, even colored up since I've got him. But I noticed something strange on his head today, It looks like small indents maybe? I'm not sure if this is an injury or not, he pecks at the driftwood sometimes, and also still glass surfs (I'm not sure why, maybe still getting used to tank) The tank was cycling for 2 weeks before adding him, not to mention I had some filter media from a previous tank inside. Here is some pics:

Also maybe I'm just stressing out now, but I swear I don't remember him always having this darker colored spot here on his fin, could just be him coloring up now.

pH: 7

kH: 100-120
gH: 70-100

Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):
Described above, strange indents on left side of head.

Volume and Frequency of water changes:
30-40% Every Week

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank:
Sponge For Mechanical Filtration, Bio-Wheel for Biological, and Activated Carbon Filter Cartridge that came with filter.

Tank inhabitants:
1x Dwarf Gourami 8x Pristella Tetra 2x Amano Shrimp and small colony of Bladder Shrimp from Live Plants.

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration):
Pristella Tetras were added last week, along with a live plant I cant remember the name of, has light green leaves and a pinkish stem, kind of looks like this:
shopping
But the leaves are a lighter green and more triangular shape.

Exposure to chemicals:
Not sure - no chlorine in tap water, I add dechlorinater before water change, and flourish fertilizer, I also added this quick start stuff when I was cycling the tank.

Thanks For any Help

Edit: Just fed the tank, he is still eating just fine.
