i went to a LFS the other day and they had these puffers in. I have never heard of this species before and i was wondering if any of you have. It's not a dwarf puffer, they have just one dark big spot on each side i believe.

Sounds like what used to be referred to as the "Common Puffer", real name is Tetraodon cutcutia, also known as Emerald Puffers.

Does this Puffer look like them?

no. it doesnt look like that. im thinkin maybe it is a dwarf puffer, just one of the subspecies. i was researching on the net and there appears to be two puffers that are labeled as dwarf puffers.
