Dwarf Chain Loach

I'm thinking of getting some dwarf chain loaches. How big should a tank be for 3-6 dwarf chain loaches?

hey pal. I have 7 chain loach in a 70l aquarium. I definatley wouldn't advise under 4 of them as they are very social and can get easily scared. They grow about 4" however they are little gets. They will rip plants. but very good with other fish mine try to shoal with the minnows they're in with. If you are thinking of getting some then you will have many hours of fun watching there guys bounce around together.

Yasuhikotakia sidtjimunki, aka dwarf chain maxes out at about 2.5 inches (6 cm). I have had a dozen for many years and none of mine have reached much over 2 so far. Hoewever, Yasuhikotakia nigrolineata which looks very similar to sidthimunki when they are juveniles do get to be about 4 inches. Is it possible you have the latter?
