hello
i dont have a froggy and i am not to sure i am going to get one
but they look neat
and i am doing my reseach to see if i can get one

i have a little 1 gallon hexigon thing not doing anything
i think it could be a cool frog tank

now here come the questions
can i use gravel for the bedding?
what should i do about filtration
undergravel filter?
or perhaps a bubble wand

for the 1 gallon i only plan on having one froggy

OR

do you think i should add him to my 10gallon tank
but the only problem it a bit cramped
he he

also how much do they cost?

Frist off, if you're looking into an ADF (African Dwarf Frog) they need a 2.5 gallon minimum, but other than that:

gravel is fine as long as it's not jagged but I'm sure they prefer sand

they should have some sort of filter. I'm sure they're bio-load is small but you need some sort of filtration

Since you can't put an ADF in your 1 gallon, what is the stocking list for your 10 gallon? If it isn't overstocked and doesn't have aggressive fish in it i'm sure the ADF would be fine.

i agree the 1 gallon is too small even tho the guy on the website he had one in a 1 1/2 gallon

for my 10 gallon

i have and angle fish
2dainos
betta
and a 1 algea eater

do you think this overstocked

i think i might should get a bigger tank soon

do adf's like bubbles?

thx

Well seeing that you Chinese Algae Eater can get 6+ inches and will eventually become territorial and eat all your fish i'd say yes...

Also, the minimum size for angels is a 30, not sure about the other fish.

I would suggest getting another tank for your current and putting the ADF with possibly some small Tetras in the 10 gallon.
