Dumb Question

i have 4 different kind of loaches,2 clowns,2 angelic botia,1 blue,and 1 horseface and all are healthy and happy.the only type of loach i've ever lost was a blue one that was eaten by my bgk before i got rid of him.my dumb question is,as crazy as they act sometimes,how do you know when their sick?i absolutely love watching all of them and i just wondered how to tell.most fish are easy to tell but most fish don't act like loaches.

umm, my suggestion is just to keep ur eye open for behaviour thats unusual for them, like less active, not eating, laying sideways (more then some do jjust to be goofy ol loaches), etc.. plus the usual deformations, and other physical signs that are more common to look for in any fish.
