I have a white pekin duck that lives on our property. He hangs around rather than going down to the pond down the street. So I bought a large plastic pool and filled it up with water. He loves swimming in it.

Now I have a question. Is there any kind of fish that would do well in this pond with partial water changes every day and help to keep it clean? Or should I steer clear from that?

I honestly have no clue so that's why I wanted to ask.

Thanks in advance!

I should think some Goldfish would be ok providing you have the water filtered to deal with ducky mess! You could maybe stock it with native fish like Roach, Tench etc? What size is it?

I'm not sure what the exact measurements are (I'm at work right now). But it's about a foot deep and probably 5 feet in diameter.

Well we are in no rush. :) If possible could you give us the liters or gallons or when you get home the measurements. So far I should think some Golden Rudd, Tench and Goldfish sounds about right. But we will go into that in more detail when we know the size. :)
