Duck Has Died...

[Duck and Dive]

I went to feed my beloved goldfish yesterday night (Duck and Dive) and I Noticed Duck floating at the top of the tank. He had no disease or anything he just decided to die.
I was completely devestated. He was my favorite as I have had Duck for 2 years in a tank with Dive.

It looked like Dive was sad as well he was sitting at the bottom looking straiaght at me with his small eyes.

Now I need to find Dive another tank mate as he looks very lonely.

Sorry for your loss and dont want to sound harsh but you have 2 goldfish in a 30L tank and wondered why one died?

they need a MUCH bigger tank!!

i know but i do a water change every 4 days nd they are going to be rehomed into a 50L tank that i am getting soon.

That's still not big enough.

You need a 30g tank for 2 goldfish. That's what, 115 liters?

Preferably more than 30 gallons if you can. 30g would be ok for a single fancy goldfish on it's own , but I wouldn't keep two in there. You really need a tank about four feet long or larger for a pair. And not to mention a filter with a high media capacity. They are so messy!
