dropsy

I just notived one of my green tiger barbs has dropsy, with some eye fungus I know how to treat the fungus, but anything to reat dropsy, or is this it...? Does anyone else notice they dont seem to be as hardy as the albinos and regulars? I started off with 3 green tigers, and after thouroughly checking the tank, I have 1... 1 died wihtin a few days of being introduced to the tank, but I had the other 2 for a while...

No worries. It's just that I don't trust myself giving help on diseases that my fish have no had. Plus, my sources are somewhat old. plus, they don't have interpret here (I believe they use that to treat it) here (I don't think), and the book says "wide ranged antibiotics".

i lost 2 fish recently to dropsy. one was pretty obvious as he swelled up like a balloon. i treated with interpret for internal bacteria.

hate to say it but once he starts to look like a pinecone he's done for. i treated hoping and mine died but the rest were ok through treatment
